Here’s our usual flow across a calendar year:



Spring Session: February-May

  • 12-16 week series
  • Orientation for newcomers on the first day
  • Teaching tracks and history, lyrics etc available for the songs we’re learning
  • Kids’ Corner: an alternate activity for little ones
  • Short- and Long-form songs
  • No minimum attendance requirement
  • Ends with a Community Sing and Potluck on the final day, which public is invited to
  • Indoors until Daylight Savings; with cross ventilation: Co2 tends to be around 600ppm. We then move to the courtyard if weather permits.

Summer Saturdays: June-September

  • Drop-Ins every week
  • Mostly Round Robins; some Special Workshops and Song Circles
  • Get on the Weekly Email List or check our Instagram for weekly updates
  • Final day is a CoffeeHouse/Potluck. LRC community members are welcome to share a song, poem, talent etc; all are welcome to attend
  • Kids’ Corner: an alternate activity for little ones, TBD
  • Outdoors in the courtyard unless weather surprises us

Fall Session: Late September-Late November

  • 8-10 week series; orientation for newcomers on the first day
  • Teaching tracks and history, lyrics etc available for the songs we’re learning
  • Kids’ Corner: an alternate activity for little ones
  • Short- and Long-form songs taught
  • No minimum attendance requirement
  • Ends with a Community Sing and Potluck on the final day, which public is invited to
  • Outdoors until Daylight Savings; pending weather. Then we move indoors with cross-ventilation. Co2 tends to be around 600ppm.


Winter Drop-Ins: December-January

  • Drop-Ins most weekends; Solstice Sing
  • Mostly Round Robins and Song Circles
  • There is usually a special song circle on or to mark the Solstice

  • Kids’ Corner: an alternate activity for little ones
  • Indoors with cross-ventilation; please heed the recommended Covid- and virus-caution for the safety of all community members. Co2 tends to be around 600ppm. Since this is a drop-in series during winter months indoors, please be especially mindful. If there is a surge in illness we may request certain safety measures.
