By Sara Stutz

Oh the wonder of community singing and the beautiful connections that come from song circles.  This is meant to be a fun romp of gratitude, connection and celebration!

Lyrics:

  1. Ba doom ba doom ba, ba doom ba doom ba doom (repeats 4 lines full pattern)
  2. I feel the tug at my heart
I feel a tug of connection
I’m so glad you’re on this earth
    And that we have community
  3. What a wonder, what a wonderful thing,
that you’re on this earth, and that we have community!
  4. What a wonder, what a wonderful thing
What a wonder, what a wonderful thing.

(notes): You may notice a Bruce Springsteen flavor on the second layer.  This was not intentional at that time and thank you Bruce for the inspiration!

Sara writes:  I often leave off the 4th layer and just have the ba doom bas running the whole time.  I’ve included specific harmonies for the ba doom ba doom bas at the end, but that too is optional and improvising is welcome.  Have fun!

You are welcome to teach and share this song, just please give attribution and I love it when folx let me know how it’s landing in their circles if you get the chance!
