by Sara Stutz
Sara writes: This song landed during an early morning dog walk with [my dog] Willow. The neighborhood trees were looking spectacular with most branches bare and glistening from the morning rain. I was struck by the shape and variety of each tree, some with strong arms reaching upwards, others elongated like the lobes of a lung, alveoli and all, still others circled round, into heart-like shapes. The connection was palpable and a love song was born.
