Here is Sara’s original phone recording, where she put the song together. Since then, she has allowed the song to modulate to fit different contexts. Namely, she often teaches is as “This is What Community Looks Like” in singing groups. The original version was taught to Thrive Street Choir and traveled quickly, showing up as the call-and-reply song at various protests and marches mere weeks later. May it keep traveling, wherever it’s needed!
