This is our repertoire. We have been singing together since 2015, and we’ve sung hundreds of songs along the way. Creating teaching pages takes a tremendous amount of work, but we’ve found it’s the best and most satisfying way to honor the songs we carry in their entireties. Please read the fine print.
This website is dynamic and new songs are added frequently. For songs written by one of the LRC leaders Kaitie, Sara and/or Deborah, you can also visit this smaller list: Original Songs
You’ll notice that some of these pages are password protected and some are public. If it’s public, it’s been made so with explicit permissions, or the song is in public domain, or the artist themself has public tracks we direct you to. In a few cases, we’ve made it public because the song is so well known in the Community Singing world that we feel comfortable having our Teaching Page join the public resources for it. The passwords are only available to LRC members and by occasional other arrangement, including, sometimes, for our fellow songleaders upon request.
In oral tradition, source info often gets mixed up or left behind, so we often update our teaching pages as we learn more. If we’ve made an error or omission, we’d love to know. You can contact us with corrections and questions here: Contact Us.
Teaching pages take time and labor to build. To support our work, we always accept donations of any amount. Especially if our work has made your work easier or more pleasant, we would be grateful for your returned support. You can send funds here: Donate
Songs also take time and energy to build and share. On each teaching page we try to include information about how to support the source artist/s and/or community the song came from. Please also consider giving to them, especially if you are performing their work.
Many songmakers also like to hear about it if you’re enjoying or teaching their material. We encourage you to reach out to the songwriter(s) to let them know when you’re using the songs they created. Consider sending a thanks and a recording – it can bring us songmakers a lot of joy!
Read our Song Library page for more thoughts about all this.
Happy Singing!
